WED AUG 29 & FRI AUG 31
6-8PM

Bassist Knox Barber, hailing from Washington, D.C., is constantly in pursuit of the deepest groove possible. He cut his teeth in the city’s abundant jazz clubs and has shared the stage with many great musicians, including Matt Wilson, David Sánchez, and Paul Carr.

Drummer Julian Archer, originally of Denver, Colorado, is a recipient of awards from YoungArts and Downbeat, and an alum of many of Denver’s most prestigious jazz groups. Julian has performed with Brad Goode, Greg Gisbert, Terrell Stafford, and Greg Osby, among others.

Guitarist Liam Hughes-Butler, also of Denver, has received more than 25 soloist awards from 10 jazz festivals. Liam, a student of Julian Lage, has also performed alongside Warren Wolf, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, and many more. This trio has been performing together around the Bay Area for over a year and is focused on bringing a fresh perspective to each song they play.

Internote A Cappella

Internote A Cappella

B-Side (map)

Internote is the Bay Area's first inter-company a cappella group, in beta since 2016! Comprised of talented musicians from the area's biggest tech firms, Internote's singers arrived having charmed audiences from Hong Kong to Carnegie Hall. Since coming together they've performed in elite places, such as benches along the Embarcadero and venues barely outside the Tenderloin. While most of their repertoire covers rock and pop anthems, listen for some original music. Internote's members hail from SF, East Bay and the Peninsula, and they have been highlighted in local, national and international news features, as has their mascot, Crabbington the crab.
